It must start very early in life for women. It happens with my daughter who is only 4. She asks me:
"Daddy, what color should I color my animal, red or purple?"
"Well, how about purple? I like the purple" (Knowing she loves the purple, one of her favorite colors.)
"No, I'm going to color it red, I don't want to color it purple"

Winter break, can you take any longer?
In my profession, I am lucky enough to get ~10 days off this year to spend with my family and friends for Christmas. The unfortunate thing is, the kids were ready to be done 2 days ago. I don't know if I can last with the way this week is going.
On a funny note, I know it's probably not the greatest, but can it be any cuter when your 4 year old uses the phrase,
"Oh for crying out loud."
I think she picked it up from my mother-in law or sister-in-law, I can't figure it out.

Fresh Breath
My daughter Lilly hangs out with my after school in my room. The other day she asked to have a piece of gum. I know she hasn't had gum a lot since she used to just chew and swallow. But lately she has done better about not just eating it. She asked me for some gum, so I gave her the pack to have a piece. I continued grading, about 5 minutes later, I look over to see Lilly loading up another piece of gum, chew it for a minute and then run over and spit it out. She saw me looking at her and came up and breathed in my face, "Does my breath smell good?" Of course it did, why wouldn't it? She just had 2 pieces of gum..... It was then that I realized that she had chewed up and spit out 8-9 pieces of gum. I just had to laugh, and was pretty happy she got all of the chewed up pieces in the trash.

If she can do it, why can't I....
As a computer teacher, I find it only necessary to blog, learn to blog, post blogs and blog, blog, blog away. Plus I will find it interesting to be able to throw up important stuff in my life that wouldn't necessary be included in my wife's blog. Mine may not involve how to redo furniture but you might see a picture of the stuff that is important to me.
